This exercise is easy to get accuracy badges because it really boils down to counting. Speed badges are also easy because users never have to go more than a handful of spots to get the number.

  1. The answer will always be an integer.
  2. Just look at the numbers, see how many spots the decimal moved, and answer that number.

Real-life Applications[]

  1. Decimals appear in every day life to display information to consumers.
  2. Decimals are very common in shopping. Price tags, food labels, and receipts all contain decimals.
  3. At gas pumps, decimals are used to show how much gas is pumped and much it costs per gallon.
