There are two types of problems in this exercise:
- What is the resulting number when you add _____ to ___ ?: This problem asks the student to find the result when they add ____ (example: 5 hundreds) to a number.
- Which expression is equivalent to ___ ?: This problem has a number and user is asked to find an expression that is equivalent to it.

Basic knowledge of place value is required for this exercise.
- When user is finding the resulting number, they can also put the number a place value chart.

- Knowledge writing numbers in different ways is very useful in real life for writing checks, because it needs the written format of the number and when writing. People also do it in words.
